Grrrr...

I know I've been away for 2 weeks, but this time it's not because I was too busy with other stuff. I had some problems with blogger, I couldn't log myself in... I'm glad everything works now!
Still I'm sad, because I didn't even had the chance to post anything the day that my blog turned 2 years old! So a happy belated birthday to my blog!

My Favorite Model

I took these pictures of Toulouse last week and I think they're too cute to not post them on my blog. Isn't he the cutest cat in the world?

I'm sorting out our Budapest pictures, so expect the Budapest-post at the at of this week. I don't have much time right now because I'm making my delicious lasagne and I still have lots of work :)

Edit: Thank you guys for the ever so sweet comments on this post. I really appreciate this!
BTW Toulouse even scored a blogpost on the Catherine Ashley Talks Fashion blog. Thank you Catherine Ashley! That's really sweet of you!

My Latest Buys

It's been a while since I posted the things I bought in the past weeks. So I decided to throw them together in one post and here it is :)
First of all my new sneakers from ADIDAS. I'm not a real sneaker kind a girl, but you just can't live without comfortable shoes. Especially if they're as beautiful as my new shoes. I just fell in love with them the first minute I saw them, you know I'm a sucker for gold.
I saw a friend of mine wearing this dress a while ago and I just had to know were she bought it. Turns out it was from WE, a store that I almost never visit. This dress is just really beautiful, I love the skirtdrapings. This dress made me want to visit the WE-store more often.
This legging is from H&M and is just perfect with a black dress and black boots, maybe with some golden accessories. I love the print.
This scarf is from H&M aswell, I love the color and it's so warm and soft. Perfect for the cold that's comming our way.
These booties are so pretty. My mom and dad brought them home for my sister and I when they got back from Norway this summer. Aren't they cute? They're so warm, I'm going to live in them the next wintermonths.

It's a must-read if you're into fashion! If you can't get enough of Label.Fashion Focus (like me) just visit their blog with lots of fashion news posted daily.

Jimmy Choo For H&M

Like everyone I know I want some pieces from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. I think I'm going to ask a day off from my weekendjob to get my hands on the things I really want. Maybe it's me, but I think it's weird that the release is on a saturday this time. The last time I made the effort to go to H&M for the designercollaborations was when Victor&Rolf made their beautiful collection for H&M. It was a real battlefield that day. That's already a few years ago and it was on a thursday. Now the H&M designercollaborations are more popular then ever and the collection hits the store on a saturday? I was thinking about staying home to avoid some serious injuries, but when I saw the collection I decided the design are worth fighting for.
The pictures below are my favorites, except the blue shoes, I want them in black. I'll be very happy if I could just get my hands on one of these designs.

If there is one dress that I will be fighting for it will be this black one.
It's perfect!

Oh and something that made me really happy is the fact that the next designer who's collaborating with H&M will be Sonia Rykiel (actually Nathalie Rykiel, her daughter). The Jimmy Choo collection isn't in stores yet and I'm already very excited about the next collaboration :)

Wearing My Precious Blazer

Last week my family and I went out for dinner at a nice restaurant to celebrate my parents. They're married for 25 years and that calls for a party! It was a nice evening and the food was delicious.
I wore my Dries Van Noten blazer, which I love to death! I found it at the 'stockverkoop' last spring and it was love at first sight. So strange that this is the first time that this blazer apears on my blog, especially since I wear it almost all the time.
Blazer: Dries Van Noten
Dress: H&M
Bracelet: Gift from boyfriend
Clutch: Vintage
Legging: H&M
Shoes: Zara

PS: Sorry for the bad picture, this was the best one I made. It was getting dark already and my hair looks really weird.

Time Flies!

Really, time flies! We got back home from Budapest last friday and we had so much fun there. I'll tell you guys more about it in another post, because I misplaced my camera and can't find it. The next day we finally got the keys to the new apartment and that's the reason why I haven't been around this week. We had so much stuff to move and right now we still don't have everything here and in place. We didn't have internet this week and I'm so happy that internet is finally installed.
I promise that I'll show pictures of our new place as soon as everything is the way I want it to be. It can take a few weeks, because we're still waiting for our sofa to be delivered.
I'm leaving you guys with this photo of me. I took it a few weeks ago, there was no one home to take an outfitshot. I think my friends and I were going to a café or a party that night.
Dress: Zara
Headband: DIY

Lille

Finally exams are over and I can do some fun things. Like today, I'm going to Ikea. I'm hoping to find lots of nice stuff for the new apartment. I also found the time to sort out the photo's from our trip to Lille in July. We had a lovely time there and we did some serious shopping (sales!). Lille is a wonderful city, so if you have the chance to visit it please do!

Palais des Beaux Arts

La Vieille Bourse
La Grande Place

La Chambre de Commerce

Notre-Dame de la Treille
La Porte de Paris et l'Hotel de Ville

I'm wearing
Jacket: My Sisters
Scarf: Vintage
Dress: H&M
Purse: H&M
Shoes: Vintage

As I said before we did some serious shopping, that means my boyfriend loves shopping to.
I was searching an A.D.I.D.A.S. jacket like this for ages and I finally found one in the A.D.I.D.A.S. originals store in Lille at 50%. That just made my day! I know this is a bad quality picture, so I need to mention that the stripes are actually gold instead of white. You'll get a better look when it appaers in one of my outfitshots.
A cute dress from Zara and also 60% off. God I love sales! I tried on this dress before when I was still at home, but couldn't find the perfect size. So I searched every Zara in Lille for this dress and I got lucky.
This blouse is from Zara and was 70% off. It's a real comfy piece of clothing, so I just couldn't resist.
A colorful sequined bolero from H&M Divided. You know that when I see something shiny I just have to buy it.
These 2 flowers are from H&M and are perfect to make a simple scarf beautiful. According to the plastic attached to them they're for wearing in your hair, but they're just to big for that in my opinion.
I also got another dress at H&M for only 10 euros, but I forgot to take a picture. So I'll show it to you guys soon.
I've read somewhere that Lille is a great city for shopping vintage. I've searched the internet and the city but couldn't find a single vintage shop. So if anyone knows some good vintage shops in Lille, let me know please. I plan on visiting this city again as soon as I can.

Almost Holidays!

Tomorrow I have my last exam and you can't believe how much I'm hoping it will be over soon. After tomorrow I'm going to have the best 3 weeks of my summer. I'm going to have fun, sleep longer, go on lots of shoppingtrips, shop new things for the new apartment and I'm going to Budapest in 2 weeks. Since I haven't started with planning my trip to Budapest, I know what to do the next days. All kinds of tips about Budapest are very welcome! And as of tomorrow I'll be back blogging fulltime :) Can't wait!

Birthday Boy

Today my cute cat Toulouse turns one year old, so he deserves a little post on my blog aswell! Still as cute as always! I can't believe he's already one year. Look how cute he is!
Sorry for the bad quality picture, but I took this one with the camera on my cellphone.

I'm Back!

I finally found the time to start blogging again. I must say that I missed blogging so much and I'm really happy to be back. Things just got so hectic the last month. I had to work, had to study and had to pack everything for the move in September. So you guys can imagine that I really didn't find the time to do a blog post and take pictures, because the apartment is a mess.
Well, exams started last week and today I went shopping because I deserved that after all the stress I had last month. I bought lots of stuff and took pictures, but I packed my cardreader and I can't find it. So the pictures will be online somewhere at the end of this week.
I still found this picture on my computer, I bought these things at the beginning of summer. Everything is from H&M. I bought the bows and the flowers. The hairpins and the bracelet are a gift from my boyfriend.
That's all I have to say for now, but I promise I'll never be gone this long anymore. I still have lots of things that I need to post about, so stay tuned. I'll try to get up to date with reading all your blogs.

DIY

I finally found some time to do one of the so many DIY-projects that I still have to start on. These are some empty cigarboxes, which I use to keep my hairpins etc. in. I printed some of my favorite pictures and glued them on the boxes. So easy, but so pretty.
The photo on the left is just a random one I found on the internet and the right one is a picture from Robert Doisneau (one of my favorite photographers).
What do you guys think?
I'm still hoping for some nice tips for my trip to Lille. Hope that there's somebody who can help me!

Eindhoven

Since I've been away for so long on this site I still have lots of things that I want to share with you guys. I bought lots of stuff when I was having some vacation, but still didn't do a post about all my new stuff.
In June my mom, my sister and I went to Eindhoven, as we do every year. Here in Belgium sales start in July, but in the Netherlands sales start sooner. Meaning, I got lots of new things hanging in my closet.
This t-shirt is from H&M. I'm normally not a big fan of prints like this, but I really like this t-shirt. It's even long enough to wear as a short dress. I love clothes that can be worn in different ways.
I already have this dress in blue. This one was 50% off and because I love wearing my blue one I decided that a second dress like this wasn't a bad idea.
Again a pair of shoes. My mom said that I have to many shoes, but I just couldn't resist. They were cheap, because they're from H&M. I love the cognac color and a pair of flat shoes is always very welcome in a city like Leuven with lots of unstable sidewalks.
I'm addicted to buying things for my appartment and I had fun at the decoration floors at De Bijenkorf and at V&D. I bought these 2 beautiful pieces and I can already imagine them in my new place.
Got a few accessories aswell. The hair pins are from H&M, like my new necklace with a recordplayer. I love this necklace and since my boyfriend is a DJ I just had to have this one. The keychain was just to cute to resist and 50% off.
That's it for now. I have to clean the appartment, since today is my day off. Have a fun day everyone.

I'm So Tired!

I'm the worst blogger ever, I know! I just took a little break from blogging because things are so hectic at the moment. When my exams ended I took a week off, just to have fun and do some shopping. My holidayjob started the first of July. So the only thing I do these days is working, really my feet are killing me. I'll try to post more often. Right now I'm just so tired that I can only think about sleeping in this beautiful bed.Oh, and I would love to have a bouquet of fresh flowers on my table. I prefer my favorite flowers: Persian Buttercup.

Next weekend the boyfriend and I are going on a citytrip to Lille in France. If you guys have some tips, some must-sees, some nice (vintage)shops, ... Just let me know. I've already made a little list, but more things to do are welcome!!!
