Paris!

I really wish I could go back to Paris! The boyfriend and I had a wonderful time there, as usual when we are in Paris. This time it was a short trip, we only had 3 days there, but we still managed to see a lot of the city and do some shopping.

What's a trip to Paris without some delicious macarons from Ladurée?! I really wanted a box, because I can use it to store jewelry. Some memories of Paris in my bedroom, lovely!

I bought this macarons cookbook at the Virgin store, can't wait to try these recepies out! I'm really curious if I can make them as good as in France. I'll keep you guys updated!

A pair of floral short from Oysho! I'm really upset that we don't have this shop in Belgium, because they have the most beautiful pieces of clothing/pyjamas. I'm a fan of Oysho since my last trip to Budapest.

I read that there was a Couleur Caramel store in paris, so I just had to go and check it out. Like I said before: I only buy products that aren't tested on animals and that are as good for the environment as possible. I bought myself some new foundation, I'll review this one in another post.

I can't leave Paris without a beautiful vintage card like this one. I bring one home everytime. My collection is getting so big and I'm loving it!

Aren't these birdies the cutest? Well, meet my new pillowcase from Habitat. It was just to funny to resist and I bought a matching penbox. Actually my boyfriend bought these 2 for me, isn't he the sweetest?!

Ile d'Oléron Part 2

For today I'll be showing you guys all the things I bought during my 2 week stay in France. I bought several things, they were all too cute to resist!

This green perfect green blouse is from H&M in Bordeaux. I know I can buy it here in Belgium aswell, but it's always nice to remember that I bought this blouse in beautiful Bordeaux instead of Brussels. (Sorry for the bad quality picture!)

Earrings I just couldn't resist! The pair on the left is from a little shop in La Cotinière and the wings are from Six in Bordeaux.

A lovely postcard that gives an idea of how the houses are on the island. Don't you just love the romantic look of the house? If I ever own a house, that's how I want mine to look.

Those flowers are typical for the island to. We brought home lots of seeds to plant them in my parents' garden, so we could have a little bit of the island at home.

We found lots of cute shops on the island with many beautiful pieces for decorating your house. Too bad we couldn't bring home most of the stuff... I got myself this retro plate for our bathroom.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse: I can't live without this stuff!!! I've been using this oil for some time now and because it's so cheap in France I got myself a big bottle. I'll be posting a review about this product later.

Of course we shopped at l'Occitane en Provence in La Rochelle. The guy who runned to shop was so extremely friendly, wish all the sales people were like that. He complimented me on my French (blush!) and he gave us a few products for free. I got a recharger for my conditioner and a olive mask (ECOCERT), the tonic and facial mouse I got for free. The guy also gave a second mask for free, but my sister has that one.

Some very cheap eyeshadow from the local market, for only 3 euros! I love the colors and the quality isn't too bad either.

This new blush brush is from Galeries Lafayette and is very eco-friendly. I'll tell you guys more about this one in another post.

As you probably noticed in the other post about my trip, I discovered a lovely macaronshop in Bordeaux. Of course I had to check out the macarons! I bought a tube with 5 macarons. It was a bit more expensive than the macarons alone, but the tube is so cute. Check out the website!

The macaron in the center is coffee, on the left you have honey & chocolate and pistache and on the right you have chocolate and lemon. And they were delicious!

Potteries are so beautiful to visit and I bought this bottle (or how do you call this?) for olive-oil. The colors make me think of The Provence. I love having a little bit of France in my kitchen.

These 2 are from E. Leclerc, but could come right out of a potterie aswell. A little mustard jar (I'm using mine for sugar) and a bottle for vinegar.

This was the first year we tried the 'caramel au beurre salé', something typical for the region where we stayed. I was sad we didn't try it sooner, because it's really delicious. I brought home this jar filled with caramels for my boyfriend. And it looks great in my kitchen to (a win-win situation!).

Holiday!

Well, my holiday has finally started. I made my last exam last thursday (I did good) and I'm so happy to be free right now :)

I have more time to blog, to do fun stuff, go shopping (sales are almost starting!), time to do whatever I want and you can't believe how happy I am with that!

This is just a quick post, to let you guys know I'm still here. Tomorrow I'll be posting a new outfitshot!

For today I have some great news, well at least for me! I went to a local supermarket yesterday and I found out that they sell macarons in my own town. The joy! Of course I took a box home and they're delicious (I didn't expect them to be so good). I took a picture of them, just to make you guys jalous ;)

Shopping @ Brussels!

As promised yesterday here are the lovely things that I bought today in Brussels. I only allowed myself to stay there untill noon, because I knew that I would end up broke if I stayed the whole day :)

I'm such a lucky girl because the pieces that I was craving for from the Fashion Against Aids collection by H&M were still available in my size (actually these were the only 3 pieces left, next to a lot of other pieces from this collection but I didn't want them). Made me so happy! I bought two harempants and a dress, here they are. And I promise you, outfits will be posted really soon!

I also bought myself 2 cute t-shirts with beautiful shoulderdetails. The striped one is from H&M and the blue one is from Mango.

Everytime when I'm in Brussels I have to buy something at Paul's bakery. So delicious and tasty, takes me right back to France. But what is in the box this time???

2 delicious macaroons, a chocolate one and one with vanilla taste. Yummy! Macaroons and crème brûlée are my most favorite things to eat in the world (to make me choose between these 2 would be just cruel, haha)! What's your favorite thing to eat?

Nostalgic

I was bored and searching the internet and I stumbeld on this great site: la cure gourmande.

It's a French store that sells cookies and chocolats. They have stores in France, Belgium and Spain.

That they sell cookies is great, but the thing I like even more is the packaging. It just makes me nostalic! They looks like grandmothers cookies-box and I just love that!

I'm gonna check the store in Brussels as soon as possible and buy everything they have ;) 

It's too bad I just found this site today, because the cookies would also make a great gift.
