This picture isn't really fashion related, but it's the closest to an outfitshot that I've gotten today. Had lots of schoolwork that had to be done today. Tomorrow I'll try and get the rest of my outfit on this blog.

Le boyfriend and I are going to the movies tomorrow. We're going to see 'Shutter Island', I'm really curious about this movie. I'll keep you updated how it was.

Today my boy surprised me with some homemade pizza and tiramisu. Isn't he the greatest?!

I Wish...

I wish that I could leave for a holiday right now! I would go someplace warm, I'm so sick of this cold weather here in Belgium. Someplace were I can shop till I drop, were I can benefit from sun and still have some time to do something cultural. Can't stop dreaming about a holiday to that place!

If I was to leave right now I would take my new stuff with me. All these pieces are what I brought home from my shopping trip with my mom and sister in Antwerp. We had such a fun day and I love my new pieces.

I would bring along my new floral suitcase from Zara home (children's department), which is big enough for all my new pieces. And I would definitely bring along mister owl. Isn't he the cutest pillow you've ever seen? I bought him at Casa.

My outfit for my holiday would be (from left to right): Striped Top from S. Oliver, Black Skirt from H&M (love the waist), Bright Blue Nailpolish from H&M, Heart Shaped Sunglasses from H&M, Organic Cotton Knee Socks from H&M and Gladiator Sandals from New Look.

I think I really need to stop shopping. I've bought so much over the past months, I think I need to move to a bigger place... I still have one other shopping post (pt. 4) ready to post, expect it somewhere this week.

Right now I'm going to read my ELLE. In my sofa, which is covered in sunshine, at least it's warm inside.

Shopping Pt. 3

My third shopping trip went to Maastricht. I went together with my mom, my dad and my boyfriend. It was somewhere between christmas and new year, because sales had already started in the Netherlands. It was really cold, but we had a great time!

This sequined vest is from H&M. I love golden and shiny clothes like this, so I couldn't resist. I must admit this photo doesn't do good to my new beautiful vest, but it's the best I have. When the weather is better it'll pop up in several outfitshots, I'm sure about that.

Another pair of shoes. What can I say? They were on sale, I love the color & design and they walk so easy. They're from Van Haren.

This beautiful scarf is from De Bijenkorf and was 50% off. I have lots of scarfs, I think it's some new kind of addiction. I just like the fact that scarfs give something extra to an outfit.

This cute piece of furniture is from Xenos and was 50% off. I love that store, it's so cheap and I always find lots of nice things there. Wish we had this store in Belgium...

I also got some brown boots, because I really needed some new flat boots. My mom and dad were so sweet to buy them for me (just like my scarf and vest). And I also bought a new black bag at Invito. Both pieces will show up in some outfitshots, I promise.

Shopping Pt. 2

The second shoppingtrip that I'm posting about is the one I made to Brussels with my boyfriend to celebrate the end of our exams. Sales were coming to an end, one of the best moments to shop in my opinion. You can still find some great cheap stuff and you can already buy some things from the new collection.

I'm so in love with this black dress from H&M. The shoulders are so fabulous, if I may say so. I love clothes with this kind of details, so I just had to have this dress.

This floral dress from Mango was 50% off. I like the fact that it's floral, but that the colors aren't too bright. Can't wait for some warmer weather so I can wear this dress to a picknick or to the park.

Some more necklaces to add to my collection. The medaillon necklace is from H&M and the bird is from the I am store (I'm not sure that's the name of the store).

Shopping Pt. 1

This post is the start of in total 4 posts about several shoppingtrips I made in the past months. I finally found the time to make photos. It took me some time, because I bought so many things :)

Right now I'll be showing the things I bought in Hasselt when I was there with my boyfriend.

I finally bought a shirt-dress at Zara. I was looking for one like this for a while and I finally found one that I really like.

A jeans shirt like this was on my wishlist since some time. I found it at New Look for only 15 euros, lucky me. It's even long enough to wear as a dress, so it's very versatile.

What do you guys think? Do you like my new stuff?

Finalement!

I'm so happy, because I finally have these boots from Zara that I wanted for some time now. The first time I saw these was on Cily's blog and it was love at first sight, I just had to have them. I passed by Zara almost everyday the past 2 weeks, too bad I live in Louvain because Zara isn't so big here. So yesterday I made a quick trip to Brussels et voilà!

I also stopped by H&M to check out what was still left from the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M collection. Still lots of things in stock, but not the things I wanted. Did you guys get anything from this collection?

When I was in Brussels I also treated myself with some delicious macarons from Paul's bakery. I'm so happy we have this bakery in Belgium, because my boy and I loved this bakery when we visited Lille.

BTW: They look lighter in the pictures, than in real life!

The New Nerd Glasses!

Finally another outfitpost on this blog. Nothing spectacular, just a simple outfit for a day with barely nothing to do. In the evening my boyfriend his sister and her boyfriend came over and we went out to dinner.

I'm wearing my new nerd glasses which I got at Claire's last tuesday. I just can't stop wearing these. I love them, even it they make me look weird. What do you guys think? Can I pull off the nerd glasses look?

Beauty Shopping!

As you know by now I'm a real beauty addict! I have so many products and I just keep buying new ones, just because I can't resist their good smell. I didn't buy the products in this post in one time, so I guess that my addiction isn't that bad. Right?

I finaly bought 'Parisienne' by YSL and I must say I'm really hooked to this perfume. I bought this somewhere around Christmas, which is the best time to buy perfumes in my opinion. Around that time you can score beautiful giftsets which include some extra things, for the same price. For example, with this perfume I got free showergel and bodylotion. This perfume absolutely is in my top 3, together with 'Flowerbomb' by Viktor & Rolf and 'Chloé' by Chloé.

A second giftbox that I bought for myself is the 'Neroli Jasmin' by The Body Shop. It was a real bargain for only 20 euros, I just love the sales. For this price I have the showergel, the bodylotion, the perfume, a scented candle and a fluffy (that's what I call these things, haha). I like having the same smells for every product I use, so these sets with everything in them are the best.

Sonia Rykiel pour H&M Pt. 2

I'm so excited that the second part of the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M collection will be in stores this saturday! I want so many things from this collection, every piece in this post (especially the first 3 pieces shown here). So you can imagine that I'm very happy that the prices are H&M prices instead of the higher designercollection prices. Wish me luck this saturday :)

Some Random Things

Well since I'm at home with a terrible cold I finally had the time to take pictures of all my new things. I won't post them all at once, but today I'll show you guys the things that I bought on several small shoppingtrips.

I guess that's all for now, I'm not really inspired at the moment... since I'm spending my day on the sofa in my pyjamas!

The Jacket That Started The New Year!

I took a 2 week holiday from this blog and I'm glad to be back. It's just that everytime when I have some free time I plan on doing so many things that I totally forget about blogging. I went home for 2 weeks and our wireless internet didn't work and I just hate it to sit at a desk, so I just ignore the computer when I'm home. I do have many things to write about and I'm back in Louvain, so expect lots of new posts.

This jacket is one of my favorites at the moment! Got it at H&M in december and I just love the colors and the fabric. I wore it to the New Years dinner my grandparents give every year (okay I know it's already february, but who cares?).

DIY

I had a lazy sunday today and I loved it! Finally slept as long as I wanted, read in my new ELLE, went for a run with my boyfriend (well, that's not really being lazy :p) and finally made these necklaces that I wanted to make for some time now.

The cat-necklace is made out of an old brooche that I bought many years ago at H&M. Too bad I wore it once and the needle broke. Didn't knew what to do with it untill now.

The shoe-necklace, well the Barbie shoe-necklace is an idea that I read about on another blog. I really can't remember that blog anymore, because it has been for more than over a year. Perfect for me, a real shoe-lover!

2 Of My Favorite Things

Lately I'm having a thing for checked shirts and sequins (like always). I've been on a search for the perfect shirt since a while now, haven't found one yet. I tried one at H&M today, but even the 34 was too big. Really, sometimes I don't get those sizes at H&M. Let's hope I have some more luck next time!

So I made this set on polyvore, I started to miss polyvore after all that time. The sequined jacket is the central piece for both outfits. What do you guys think?

Too bad we don't have Topshop here in Belgium, because these shirts are absolutely fabulous!

The Garden Collection!

So my exams are finally over, except for a presentation that I have next thursday. I'm so glad that I have some free time now, I've got so many things planned.

I read about the Garden Collection on several blogs already, but I still wanted to make this post because the collection is so beautiful. I want almost everything! The greatest part about this collection is that it's made out of recycled and organic materials! So that makes a 'green-girl' like me very very happy!

No Time

In my previous post I said that I was going to post much more because I'm studying right now, well that turned out to be wrong :) I really haven't got the time to make some blogposts, outfitshots, etc. So I'm making this little post to let you guys know that I'll be back next friday (15th of January) when my exams are over. Right now I have to get back to my books (Egyptian art, Islamic art and European literature).

I still want to wish all of you a great 2010, a year in which hopefully all our dreams will come true!
