Ile d'Oléron Part 1

I finally managed to select a "few" pictures to give you guys an idea of the beautiful place where I spended my holidays this year. The lovely Ile d'Oléron at the Atlantic Ocean. I used to spent every summer there untill the year I turned 16. I was so happy to be back there and I'm so going back in a few years.

We did so many fun things: go to the beach, walk around in our village (Le Chateau), visited some other villages on the Island and the mainland, we went to La Rochelle and to Bordeaux (I fell in love with Bordeaux!!!), did some shopping, I ate so many macarons that I lost count :p, I discoverd the Caramel au beurre salé (it's delicious), .... Really just to much to tell!

We took over 400 pictures, so I made a small selection for you guys to maybe fall in love with this wonderful place to.

The New Bag

I already have this beauty for a few weeks now, but I just had to show this bag on my blog.

It was love at first sight when I saw it in the Mango shop in Hasselt. At first I thought it would be way to expensive, but it turned out to be very affordable. So I ended up really happy that day!

H&M Fall Preview

I'm currently studying again for 2 exams, so it seems like it's been forever since I went on my last shopping trip (Well, it hasn't even been that long and I still have to show lots of things that I bought over the past weeks).

I love looking at new collections that will be in stores soon. So I'm always happy when I find new collection previews on the Nitro:Licious blog.

The H&M-fall collection seems to have some lovely pieces that I really want in my closet. Can't wait for me to find these beauties in the store. I might even drop by H&M today, who knows what I'll come home with.

The Body Shop Eye & Cheek Palette: Review

Today I'll be telling you guys a little bit more about the make-up palette I bought during the sales in Maastricht.

Lately I've been really into eyeshadow... so at 50% off (now only 15 euros) I just couldn't resist buying this palette. Palettes are the easiest to work with and I just get the best results with them.

This palette contains 4 warm shades of eyeshadow, going from light to dark, a pink blush and an eyeshadow applicator. The box is made out of a soft fabric and closes with a magnet.

It was available in 2 different colors, I bought palette 02: 'A sultry palette of plum and chocolat shades including Caramel Shimmer, Pink Shimmer, Chocolat Shimmer, Plum Shimmer and Blush'.

01 Blush: I would discribe this as a coral colored blush. It's not too pigmented, so perfect if you like your blush really soft. For the ones who like their blush a little more visible, just work with a few layers.

02 Caramel Shimmer: It has a pretty golden shine when I wear it. You can use it perfectly as a highlighter.

03 Pink Shimmer: In my opinion this color is more bronze than pink. Personaly I think that pink wouldn't look so good in this palette than the bronze color.

04 Plum Shimmer: Could be best discribed as a rusty color, gives a very nice effect when you wear it.

05 Chocolate Shimmer: It's a rather dark color, but it has enough shimmer in it for me to like it. Perfect for the finishing touch.

This palette is perfect in my opinion. I'm a huge fan of bronze & golden eyeshadows, because black really isn't my color...

In the pictures the colors look more purple/pink than they are in real life.

I'm Back Again!

Well, I'm back home again from Paris. We had a lovely time there and I was sad to leave the city! We did some shopping and of course I bought some things. I'll post about them later this week.

Tomorrow I'll finally have the pictures from my other trip to France this summer, so'll they be uploaded soon.

Gosh, I have so many things to talk about. Can't decide where to begin...

I'm Leaving Again

Well my friends, I'll be away from this blog again untill friday. The boyfriend and I will be spending some days in Paris. Can't wait to be there again!

I know I didn't even have the time to make a descent post since I got back home from France... I promise that things will get better when I'm back home!

I'm Back!

Just a quick post to let you guys know that I'm back home from a lovely holiday!

We got home last sunday, it just took me a few days to get everything back the way it was. So that's why I didn't post anything sooner.

Pictures will follow, once I get my hands on them. I forgot the SD-card at my sister's place...

I'm Off!

This will be my last blogpost for a little longer than 2 weeks, because tomorrow I'm leaving for a holiday!

My family and I will be going to Ile d'Oléron in France. We used to go there every year since I was 5 years old. The last time I was there was like 8 years ago, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the island agian.

I'm so sad my boyfriend can't come with us, because he has to work. I really wanted to show him the island where I used to spend all my summers. At least now I know that our kitten will be cared for by someone who he knows :)

Well, I guess I'll see you guys soon after a lovely holiday!

Ruffles By Mexx

Just a quick post to show you guys the newest addition to my closet, a floral ruffled top by Mexx. This is the first item by Mexx in my closet, maybe I have to consider shopping at Mexx more often.

The day that the sales started my mom and I went to the supermarket and we decided to check out a small shop in our town which has some nice clothes. It was love at first sight! How could I resist the floral print, the ruffles, the super soft fabric and the 30% off?

It got even better when my mom said she would pay for it, just as a little gift for no reason. She's just too sweet for words!

Maastricht!

Last monday I went shopping in Maastricht. I was so looking forward to shopping there again, but I felt kinda dissapointed this time. I was hoping to find some nice things in sale, but I didn't buy any clothes. To make things worse the L'Occitane shop was closed that day...

Of course I still managed to find some great things and I had a lovely day together with my boyfriend.

Go Maxi!

I finally bought myself a maxi-dress a few weeks ago and I love it! Wanted to buy a dress like this for some time now, but I always thought it didn't look so good on me... I'm glad that I tried this one on at H&M, because I really can't live without it anymore. Can't wait to buy more maxi-dresses!

This is what I wore yesterday, we went to the carnival and had a delicious meal at a restaurant. I love summer and the lovely weather!

This is the thing that always happens to me, when my holiday starts I take some time off from this blog. I do it without any warning and I really don't plan on doing it, but it just always turns out this way.

I did have a wonderful week :) Last monday I went shopping in Maastricht (and enjoyed a little bit of the football-crazyness), I already watched an entire season of Gilmore Girls, I enjoyed the really hot weather here in Belgium, ...

I bought some lovely stuff the past week, so I'll have lots of thing to talk about.
