Finalement!

I'm so happy, because I finally have these boots from Zara that I wanted for some time now. The first time I saw these was on Cily's blog and it was love at first sight, I just had to have them. I passed by Zara almost everyday the past 2 weeks, too bad I live in Louvain because Zara isn't so big here. So yesterday I made a quick trip to Brussels et voilà!

I also stopped by H&M to check out what was still left from the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M collection. Still lots of things in stock, but not the things I wanted. Did you guys get anything from this collection?

When I was in Brussels I also treated myself with some delicious macarons from Paul's bakery. I'm so happy we have this bakery in Belgium, because my boy and I loved this bakery when we visited Lille.

BTW: They look lighter in the pictures, than in real life!

The New Nerd Glasses!

Finally another outfitpost on this blog. Nothing spectacular, just a simple outfit for a day with barely nothing to do. In the evening my boyfriend his sister and her boyfriend came over and we went out to dinner.

I'm wearing my new nerd glasses which I got at Claire's last tuesday. I just can't stop wearing these. I love them, even it they make me look weird. What do you guys think? Can I pull off the nerd glasses look?

Beauty Shopping!

As you know by now I'm a real beauty addict! I have so many products and I just keep buying new ones, just because I can't resist their good smell. I didn't buy the products in this post in one time, so I guess that my addiction isn't that bad. Right?

I finaly bought 'Parisienne' by YSL and I must say I'm really hooked to this perfume. I bought this somewhere around Christmas, which is the best time to buy perfumes in my opinion. Around that time you can score beautiful giftsets which include some extra things, for the same price. For example, with this perfume I got free showergel and bodylotion. This perfume absolutely is in my top 3, together with 'Flowerbomb' by Viktor & Rolf and 'Chloé' by Chloé.

A second giftbox that I bought for myself is the 'Neroli Jasmin' by The Body Shop. It was a real bargain for only 20 euros, I just love the sales. For this price I have the showergel, the bodylotion, the perfume, a scented candle and a fluffy (that's what I call these things, haha). I like having the same smells for every product I use, so these sets with everything in them are the best.

Sonia Rykiel pour H&M Pt. 2

I'm so excited that the second part of the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M collection will be in stores this saturday! I want so many things from this collection, every piece in this post (especially the first 3 pieces shown here). So you can imagine that I'm very happy that the prices are H&M prices instead of the higher designercollection prices. Wish me luck this saturday :)

Some Random Things

Well since I'm at home with a terrible cold I finally had the time to take pictures of all my new things. I won't post them all at once, but today I'll show you guys the things that I bought on several small shoppingtrips.

I guess that's all for now, I'm not really inspired at the moment... since I'm spending my day on the sofa in my pyjamas!

The Jacket That Started The New Year!

I took a 2 week holiday from this blog and I'm glad to be back. It's just that everytime when I have some free time I plan on doing so many things that I totally forget about blogging. I went home for 2 weeks and our wireless internet didn't work and I just hate it to sit at a desk, so I just ignore the computer when I'm home. I do have many things to write about and I'm back in Louvain, so expect lots of new posts.

This jacket is one of my favorites at the moment! Got it at H&M in december and I just love the colors and the fabric. I wore it to the New Years dinner my grandparents give every year (okay I know it's already february, but who cares?).

DIY

I had a lazy sunday today and I loved it! Finally slept as long as I wanted, read in my new ELLE, went for a run with my boyfriend (well, that's not really being lazy :p) and finally made these necklaces that I wanted to make for some time now.

The cat-necklace is made out of an old brooche that I bought many years ago at H&M. Too bad I wore it once and the needle broke. Didn't knew what to do with it untill now.

The shoe-necklace, well the Barbie shoe-necklace is an idea that I read about on another blog. I really can't remember that blog anymore, because it has been for more than over a year. Perfect for me, a real shoe-lover!

2 Of My Favorite Things

Lately I'm having a thing for checked shirts and sequins (like always). I've been on a search for the perfect shirt since a while now, haven't found one yet. I tried one at H&M today, but even the 34 was too big. Really, sometimes I don't get those sizes at H&M. Let's hope I have some more luck next time!

So I made this set on polyvore, I started to miss polyvore after all that time. The sequined jacket is the central piece for both outfits. What do you guys think?

Too bad we don't have Topshop here in Belgium, because these shirts are absolutely fabulous!

The Garden Collection!

So my exams are finally over, except for a presentation that I have next thursday. I'm so glad that I have some free time now, I've got so many things planned.

I read about the Garden Collection on several blogs already, but I still wanted to make this post because the collection is so beautiful. I want almost everything! The greatest part about this collection is that it's made out of recycled and organic materials! So that makes a 'green-girl' like me very very happy!

No Time

In my previous post I said that I was going to post much more because I'm studying right now, well that turned out to be wrong :) I really haven't got the time to make some blogposts, outfitshots, etc. So I'm making this little post to let you guys know that I'll be back next friday (15th of January) when my exams are over. Right now I have to get back to my books (Egyptian art, Islamic art and European literature).

I still want to wish all of you a great 2010, a year in which hopefully all our dreams will come true!

I'm A Good Student

Yes, I am! This is the first time in all those years that I'm a student that I started studying so early in my vacation. Well, only because it's really necessary! I only have 3 exams this January, but they placed them all in 1 week. So stupid, because we have a whole month of exams. I try to look at it in a positive way and think of the long vacation (3 weeks) I have after that week of exams.

Snow Part 2

As said in my previous post, I just love snow! The world turns into this beautiful and magical place with it's white snowcarpet! I took some pictures yesterday evening and this morning. So here is the view we have from one of our bedroom windows!

In the back you can see the Sint-Michielskerk (Saint Michael's Church) and the church right behind the tree is the Sint-Antoniuskapel (Saint Anthony's Chapel) where Father Damien is buried. I just love looking outside of my windows at night and stare at the beautiful Saint Michael's Church.

I'm sorry that this post turned out the be a little history lesson about Leuven, but I'm just really happy to live in a city with so much interesting history facts.

And about the snow, it's not so much fun when the snow turns into ice and walking turns into ice-skating :)

We finally had the time to take some outfitshots on our way to the supermarket. It started snowing this afternoon, what makes me really happy! I'm not wearing anything special, just trying to keep myself warm.

My holidays have officially started today, but I need to start studying for my exams that start in January. This means that I'll have more time to blog, because it's a good way of relaxing!

Sonia Rykiel pour H&M

I've finally bought the 2 dresses that I wanted from this first collection. I went by H&M here in Leuven saturday, but they only had the striped lingerie which isn't something that I wear. So this morning I made a quick trip to Brussels and found my 2 dresses!

I'm so happy with these. They're a bit see-true, but they can be easily combined with some pants or 100 den tights. That's what I really like about this collection, it's lingerie but you can wear it all the time.

Our Trip To Budapest

As promised here are the photos we took in Budapest in September. I know it's already been 3 months since we were there, but I still wanted to share my favorite photos. We were there for 5 days and took is easy. Normally we have a hectic schedule to see everything, but we decided to take it slow. We spent an entire day at the Szechenyi Furdo (it's paradise), we spended lots of time at the historic castle district (fisherman's bastion, Mathias church, ...) and we took lots of time to shop. We wandered around the streets which was a lot of fun and we even ended up at ikea (were the ludde sheepskin I like so much was very cheap, so that was nice). Budapest is a very nice city and the weather was lovely when we were there. I'm so looking forward to the next vacation with my boyfriend, but I don't know yet when it will be and were we'll end up.
