Busy

I'm sorry for my absence, I just had a few very busy days.
* I needed to find a place for my internship that starts next week and I finally found one after a lot of searching.
* I had a meeting with the guy who's going to help me with my thesis. I already got lots of things to read, so I'll know what to do with my free time.
* I also started swimming again. It's just a few hours a week, but when I get home I just want to lay in my sofa and watch tv (I guess I feel like I deserve it after some swimming).

Today I'm only showing you guys a detail shot, not a complete outfit. I'm wearing this with a simple dark grey sweaterdress and black leggings.
These shoes are almost impossible to walk in, so I only wear them when I don't need to walk a lot (like today, I'm just spending the day at home).

Brooche (turned into necklace): H&M

Days Like This

I had a wonderful day today and I loved it.
The boyfriend and I went out for a coffee and a walk in our city. What else can you do when the weather is this great after a week of autumn?
I made a quick stop by my school for my inscription. If everything goes as planned I'll be graduating this year, I can't wait!!!

I'm so in love with these shoes! What do you guys think?

Shoe Candy

Look at these beauties! I stumbled on this picture on the It-girl website while reading about the Massimo Dutti Flagship Store opening in Brussels.
They're perfect and I just have to have them!

Hanging Around

I finally took the time to take some pictures and show you guys another outfit of mine. The boyfriend and I just went into town and stopped by some shops and I didn't even buy anything.
I love this outfit, so comfortable, easy and casual. I could wear this every day!
Cardigan: New Look
T-shirt: New Look (NEW)
Bracelet: Urban Outfitters
Trousers: H&M
Bag: Only
Shoes: Zara
I made a close-up to show you guys my new haircut. Well I only trimmed my bangs, but it looks so much better in my opinion. I'm also very happy with my new haircolor, so I wanted to show that too. It's a combination of lots of sun (during my stay in France) and a very bright orange hair dye. What do you guys think of my hair?

I'm hoping that this piece will end up in my collection very soon! It's so beautiful and I bet it looks great with a simple outfit.
It's a must have!

My favorite beauty brands: L'Occitane En Provence

'The story begins in Provence, in 1976, when L'Occitane was created by Olivier Baussan...
Drawing inspiration from mediterranean cultures, he developed skincare products and fragrances that were natural and authentic, effective and deliciously appealing.
L'occitane brings together nature and research, they replace or limit the concentration of parabens, chemical sunfilters, silicones, ...
L'Occitane is a socially responsible company, comitted to limiting the impact of its actions and products on the environment.'

What's not to love about L'Occitane?!! I've been a fan since several years and I'll be a fan for the rest of my life.
The company works with natural ingredients, excludes parabens where possible, it even has a line of ECOCERT products (I love these products). Everything they make has the greatest smell and takes you right back to France.

L'Occitane is one of my favorite brands because the company is very aware of the fact that they need to take care of our natural resources. They use the least poluting or recycled materials for their packaging, all the paper they use is from sustainable managed forests, they don't test their ingredients and finished products on animals, ...
If you would like to know more about L'Occitane and their commitments, I would recommend you guys their site. It has every piece of information you need and they have an online shop.

Well, I hope you guys will like these new posts. I really want to share all my favorite beauty brands with my readers and maybe I can convince some of you to be more aware of the beauty products that you buy in the shops. I'll be making a post about all the brands (as natural as possible and not tested on animals) I use and I'll be reviewing several products from these brands aswell.
Don't be afraid to let me know what you guys think about this and upcoming beauty posts!

Cleaning!

I had the best weekend! Last saturday we went shopping in Antwerp and I bought lots of things (I'll post about my buys later). In the afternoon we went to Laundry Day, a festival in Antwerp, because my boyfriend had to DJ there. I'm so proud of my boyfriend!
Right now we're having a major clean-up in our apartment, so I'll be back with a normal post tomorrow.

Paris!

I really wish I could go back to Paris! The boyfriend and I had a wonderful time there, as usual when we are in Paris. This time it was a short trip, we only had 3 days there, but we still managed to see a lot of the city and do some shopping.

What's a trip to Paris without some delicious macarons from Ladurée?! I really wanted a box, because I can use it to store jewelry. Some memories of Paris in my bedroom, lovely!
The macarons: Caramel, Citron, Pistache, Café, Chocolat and Vanille!
"Lunchbreak" in a park near the Champs-Elysées. I wish all my lunches were this delicious :)
I bought this macarons cookbook at the Virgin store, can't wait to try these recepies out! I'm really curious if I can make them as good as in France. I'll keep you guys updated!
A pair of floral short from Oysho! I'm really upset that we don't have this shop in Belgium, because they have the most beautiful pieces of clothing/pyjamas. I'm a fan of Oysho since my last trip to Budapest.
I read that there was a Couleur Caramel store in paris, so I just had to go and check it out. Like I said before: I only buy products that aren't tested on animals and that are as good for the environment as possible. I bought myself some new foundation, I'll review this one in another post.
I can't leave Paris without a beautiful vintage card like this one. I bring one home everytime. My collection is getting so big and I'm loving it!
Aren't these birdies the cutest? Well, meet my new pillowcase from Habitat. It was just to funny to resist and I bought a matching penbox. Actually my boyfriend bought these 2 for me, isn't he the sweetest?!
Have a lovely evening!
