Event: Tiany Kirilove By Vero Moda

Last thursday the headquarters of Bestseller in Antwerp were the place to be. Press and bloggers were invited there for the presentation of the Tiany Kirilove by Vero Moda collection.

Tiany Kiriloff is the leading lady of fashion in Belgium, we can al agree on that, so the Danish brand Vero Moda couldn't have picked a better guestdesigner. I mean, if you hear the words limited edition collection, Tiany Kiriloff and Vero Moda in one sentence you can be sure it's Fashion with capital F.

The collection got presented to us by a proud and emotional Tiany and we (of course) were very excited to see the result of a year of hard work. After the first glimpse we all agreed that this collection is a winner.

After the presentation, with a lot of thank yous in both ways, we got the opportunity to feel and try the collection ourselfs. We had to write down our top 3 and that turned out to be much more difficult than I thought it would. I ended up writing down the knitted cardigan, the bright pink blazer and the orange shirt.

We also got spoiled with lots of delicious sweets. Why can't I have a buffet like this one at home everyday? ;)

The collection will be available in Vero Moda shops from the beginning of september and in a selection of multi-brand stores. You'll read all about it here when the time has come.

Press Days @ Antwerp

A month after the press days at Brussels it was time to visit the press days at Antwerp. I only visited 3 pr-agencies, because I had to work untill 2 o'clock. Again I saw some serious wish-list material (well, that's no surprise) and I'll share my absolute favorites in this post.

I met up with Stéphanie, Kim, Hanne & Astrid (my company in Brussels aswell) at my first stop Oona. Or should I say ExpOona? They did a great job creating a fun atmosphere by making the showroom look like a museum.

Our next stop was the Pravda showroom, located in a beautiful loft-style building (I really want a house like that). I was excited to see what Steve Madden had designed for the comming season and I discovered some great new brands.

My last stop of the day was UPR (thanks to Kim for giving me a lift). I was most curious to see if L'Occitane En Provence and Rituals had some new things. Next to these 2 favorite brands, I also found some other great pieces that I simply must have!

Essentiel Flash Collection Summer 2011

2 weeks ago I was invited at Essentiel in Brussels to check out the Flash Collection for summer 2011. A very colorful collection that you must see in real life. I'm talking fluo yellow and pink all over the place and I loved it. Nothing better to spice up your outfit than a splash of color. 

We got spoiled with good music, cocktails and delicious macaroons (yummy!). The event was the last on the planning of that day (press days in Brussels) and although I was tired I did have a great time meeting a lot of interesting people.

The evening we got the opportunity to shop at a 20% discount, but I resisted the temptation (ain't I a good girl?). I got my fix that evening from the beautiful store itself, it's so nicely decorated. You should really go and have a look yourself.

Press Days @ Brussel Pt. 2

So here's the second part of my Press Days recap. There are fewer pictures in this post, mainly because a lot of my pictures failed (I apologize for that).

Our next stop was the Top Secret Communication showroom. I was really surprised to find out they represent Nuxe, one of my favorite beauty brands! I felt like I was in heaven, especially because of the beautiful presentation of the products. I already had a huge Nuxe wishlist, but it got even bigger after this visit :)

Press Days @ Brussel Pt. 1

As you might know already, I attented the Press Days in Brussels 2 weeks ago. I finally found the time to go trough all my pictures (believe me, it took me a while).

It was my first time and I can say that I had a great time. It's so nice to see all the beautiful things that await us for Fall-Winter 2011. Since I have so many pictures I decided to make 2 different posts. In each post you'll see my favorites.

I'll start with Tan-dem. I knew they represent Sonia Rykiel and Sandrina Fasoli (2 of my favorite designers), so I was anxious to see the collections and they didn't let me down. I'll defenitely need to find some sponsors for the next season.

The people from Tan-dem had arranged a little surprise for the visitors, named Achraf Amiri. We all got the change to let him make a sketch of us. He's such a talented artist. What do you guys think of the result?

Our next stop was Sumo, located in a beautiful building in Brussels. There were so much beautiful brands to be discovered, so we got a tour by the lovely ladies at Sumo. We ended our visit in the garden with a delicious lunch.
