I'm a person who suffers from dry lips and I hate it when my lips have skin peeling of (really doens't look pretty). So that's why I scrub my lips regularly. I used to make my own lip scrub with a little bit of olive oil and salt or sugar. Really does the trick for me, but lately I've abondoned my old habit for my newest lip scrub love.

I bought the Bubblegum lip scrub by Lush and I'm hooked. The taste is so sweet and delicious, you get tempted to eat the whole thing. And who would refuse a happy bright pink product in their bathroom?

Tonight's Outfit

We're getting ready to leave Leuven to spend Christmas together with our families. I hope we'll get there in one piece, since there is so much snow. On the other hand, I guess we all love a white Christmas (once we're save inside).

Finally I can show you guys another outfit (picture overload!). I really love this dress, but I have a feeling lots of people will think this isn't the best dress for Christmas. Well I like it and that's the most important. 

However I'm having some trouble with the ruffles at the shoulders. I'm thinking about cutting them off, I'm not sure about it though. What would you do?

The Dress

After posting so much beautiful Zara clothing on my blog I payed a visit to the Zara shop in Leuven last weekend. I only found the skirt and floral dress from the evening collection and both were a bit disappointing in real life.

The good news, however, is that I finally found a dress to wear at my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary party next week. A simple black dress with several layers, which is actually perfect for every occasion. So it's a great addition to my collection.

I don't know how I'll be wearing it (shoes, accessories, jacket/cardigan, ...), but I promise I'll post pictures after the party. Can't wait!

My Weekend & Zoeva

I'm glad to have finally found some time to write a little post today. Last week was crazy busy. I worked everyday and because it was so busy I was very tired every evening. So I was glad that I had already planned some posts, because I really didn't feel like writing something.

This weekend was very busy too. I worked on saturday and yesterday the boyfriend his parents came to Louvain and we went to the christmas market and went out for dinner. And of course I did some present shopping.

I also want to apologize for the lack of outfitshots on my blog the last weeks. It's just that my boyfriend (who is my photographer) is very busy at the moment and we just can't find the time for a "photoshoot". I can only tell you that things will get better from next weeked, so bare with me please!

Today I want to tell you guys about my new found love for make up palettes! 

I ordered 2 palettes on the Zoeva.de webshop and I love these beauties! I love palettes because you have a big choice of colors to work with and it's only 16,95 euros for 1 palette (so cheap it is).

These palettes have great pigmentation and the colors are totally my style. So let's take a closer look.

The first palette I got is the Nude Shimmer Palette. This palette contains 28 earthy colors which are perfect for everybody who loves a subtle look. Of course you can make your look as dark as you like. These eyeshadows have a glowing finish, but I prefer my make up shimmery instead of matte.

My second palette is the 88 Warm Shimmer Palette. I always wanted an 88 palette, but usually the colors weren't my cup of tea. I really don't like blue and green eyeshadows (it can be beautiful when other people wear it, but when I wear these colors I look really weird). So when I found this one I didn't doubt for a second. Of course these have a shimmery finish aswell.

Not so long ago Zoeva added even more make up products to their webshop: eye pigments, eyepencils, lashes, ... And I'm really hoping to add the Very Croc Brushset to my collection pretty soon.

I guess everybody already knows this collection, but I still wanted to share these gorgeous pictures on my blog. Who doesn't love this Evening Collection by Zara?!

New In My Closet

Last weekend the boyfriend and I made a quick trip to Hasselt. He needed to pick something up and I tagged along and made a stop at New Look.

I was hoping to find a great dress that I could wear when my grandparents are married for 60 years (December 30th). 

No dresses for me in store, but I did find this beautiful (if I may say so myself) t-shirt. I'm a sucker for black pieces of clothing with golden details, so I didn't doubt for a second.

Shopping: Yes To Carrots

You guys already now that I love buying beauty products. Last month I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't buy new products untill my huge stash is a little less big. These products are the exception to the rule, because I really needed these and there was a 20% discount!

Moisturizing Eye Cream: A great cream for my eyes that really hydrates and makes my skin soft. The bottle has a pump, which makes it easier to use and it's just more hygienic.

Body Moisturizing Lotion: I always use this lotion after I shower because I have dry skin. It's a great hydrating cream and the scent is so addictive. You should really try this one. It's also available with SPF 30, but I only use it at night so there's no need for the SPF.

Soothing Facial Mask: I've never tried this one before, but it promises to take good care of your sensitive skin (I tend to have some red spots). So I'm really curious to see the results.

Today I want to show you guys my new and very beautiful jewelry box. My mom and dad brought it home for me from Egypt and I LOVE IT!

I'm a huge fan of souvenirs and I like them even more when I can really use them and they're as pretty as this one. You can't really see it in these pictures but it's has a pearly shine and the colors are a bit warmer. Thank you very much mom and dad!

My Holy Grail!

Today I want to tell you guys a little bit more about one of my favorite products when the days are getting colder. The 'Almond Soothing Facial Oil' from Weleda is perfect for my skin during autumn and winter.

"Mild, soothing facial oil for sensitive and unbalanced skin. Perfect for extremely dry skin to use daily, morning and evening, or as extra protection when the skin is exposed to wind and cold weather. Can also be used for removing eye make up. Suitable for vegans."

Well, the official description says it all. It's a great, multifunctional product that contains high quality organic almond oil and plum kernel oil. It makes the skin soft and supple whilst strenghtening its natural protection.

Keeping in mind that this is an oil, I only use it at night in combination with my nightcream. So it has the entire night to do its job without my face looking oily during the day. And I don't use it every night, only when I feel that my skin needs it, because my skin isn't that dry. When I wake up the next day my skin feels supersoft and it's really hydrated.

Label.Fashion Focus

Look what the mailman had with him for me today! Almost a month too late, the new Label.Fashion Focus. Anyway, I'm glad that I finally have it!

You guys already know I'm not a big fan of this cold weather and the snow. So I stayed at home and read my magazine from cover to cover today with a warm cup of tea to keep me company.

Yet another edition that's great to read. As a shoe-addict I was eager to read the article about Fred de la Bretoniere. Caution: you might end up wanting some new shoes very very much! 

The Levi's Curve ID, sneakercollabs, colors and Lacoste got some attention in this edition aswell. The opening of the WeSC shop in Antwerp is featured too and I'm going to Antwerp soon to check it out. 

Moms and dads should really buy this edition, LFF shows some great brands for your children. Who doens't want their kid to be the most fashionable in town?

Thanks to Label.Fashion Focus I discovered some great new brands to follow: Billy and I, Won Hundred and Caye. And last but not least a great and inspiring fashionshoot on a rooftop in Antwerp!

Mer Du Nord: Spring-Summer 2011

Today I received an e-mail saying that the press images from Mer Du Nord for next summer were online. 

And boy do I love this collection! Beautiful fabrics, amazing details, lovely colors (bright and neutral), ... I know where I'll be shopping for my summer wardrobe. 

The campaign is beautiful too, makes the pretty clothes even more desirable! As if I wasn't hating this cold weather enough already!
