I really like the shinny Prada turbans and I really want one. Well in my case a cheaper version, but I can't seem to find one. I really don't know if it will look good on me, but it's worth a try.
But before I show those great Prada pictures, I want to show you guys what this trend made me think of.
This gorgeous painting by Jan Van Eyck - Man with Turban. I just love all of his work, it gives me goose bumps when I look at it. His work has got so much feeling and details, that it's just mindblowing when you compare it with a picture. It's almost the same!
I've linked you up, & the painting is absolutely incredible!
RépondreSupprimerI got my turban off ebay super cheap. I think the seller was vagabond joes (though I don't know if it's one word in the screenname or not).
RépondreSupprimerI really want to try a turban too, but maybe not a shiney one--I think not shiny might bring less attention???
RépondreSupprimerI'd try one, but wearing it outside might end up being too dramatic for my everyday life.
RépondreSupprimerI wish I could weare a turban, but it would be a scadoule :)
RépondreSupprimerThank you for the happy birthday wishes
I’ve apreciated a lot.
Thanks.
haha i like the comparison. i never even thought of that.
RépondreSupprimeri want to try a turban as well. any idea where i can find a cheap, non-shiny version?
Oh wow, I love the first one, it's kind of like beret-slash-turban...and the copper is so pretty.
RépondreSupprimeri think a cream one would be super delicious.
RépondreSupprimerIt's interesting to see how how certain trends have always been around even that far back, amazing!

Thanks!
That painting is so beautiful.
RépondreSupprimerI'm not so sure about the turban, but I've seen some promotional pictures of the H&M spring collection (some of which you can see on our site) with models sporting ethnic ones. Do post a picture of yourself with your turban, I'm curious to see how 'regular' people would want to wear them!
