Mohop

I've seen these shoes already twice @ Style Bytes and I just can't keep them out of my mind.
They're called mohop and they're handmade by Annie Mohaupt in her studio in Chicago.
The soles are made from recycled tires, the core is Finnish birch plywood and the finnishing touch is veneer (different kinds).
These shoes can be worn in many different ways, because of the strapping system. You can use different colors and different sorts of straps.
The older version has heels in 3 different hights (low, medium and high). There's a new version out now: wedges, also low, medium or high.

I plan on buying the 'mid heeled walnut wedge sandal'. They cost $278. So it's not that cheap for my studentbudget, but if think of the endless possibilities, it's so worth the price.
These beauties can be ordered online @ mohop. The site shows lots of different ways how the shoes can be worn (I've also added 4 pictures) and holds lots of other information.

  1. These are really cute and so functional. You can have so many different types with only one core.
Great, but I still think a bit expensive.
